A little about me,

My name is Jennifer but I go by Jen. I love coffee, the outdoors and going on adventures. I'm a wife, a mother, and step mom. Faith leads me and family is everything. I live in Oregon city but I grew up in Welches near mount hood. I have always loved taking pictures, never wanting to forget special moments and wanting to capture and save them to look back on forever. So many times over the years, I've always wished I had a professional camera. I love learning new things and with photography there is so much to learn and I continue to learn daily. My goal is to capture sharp beautiful photos every time. I love making it fun, capturing the beauty all around us and building ones confidence. I started my photography journey last year 2021 and it took off and my portfolio is growing quickly. I do weddings, maternity, newborn, engagement, portraits, business advertising, class photos, (pretty much anything). I also really enjoy wildlife and landscape photography.

I shoot with a Nikon D5500 and 5100 and I already have quite the lens selection build up, so I'm always prepared for any situation. Right now I find myself loving the prime lenses because it really boosts your creative side. I LOVE my new Nikon 35mm 1.8 and Nikon 50mm 1.8 but I do love a good zoom lens too. I have a lot of fun using my Nikon Zoom lens 70-200 2.8.

It cannot be anymore clear to me that I was meant to do photography and I love it.

Before a session I will always ask you what type of pictures you like or prefer so when I am editing them I can adjust them to a style you will love. If you're having trouble finding a location for the session I will offer ideas and suggestions but I'm also willing to travel within reason. If it is a wedding session I know that you have a lot going on so I have a timeline and a must have photo list created that you can go over and adjust as you like. I'll be available for any questions you have. It is your special day and I know that it has to be perfect. I can also recommend wedding venues in the area, along with hair and makeup stylist if needed. Aside from weddings, most sessions are typically one to two hours long depending on outfit changes and the situation.

Turn around time to get your photos is usually 1-2 weeks depending on the session and how many photos I have to edit. I like to take a lot, but of course within the first few days I will always send you sneak peaks and my favorites.

My top favorite sessions are weddings, maternity and engagement photos. There is just so much love, intimacy, excitement, and new beginnings. However the sweet 16 photo session I did was a top favorite too. I had so much fun and I loved the location.

Of course as you can see, I also love taking pictures of my family.
